We are excited to announce that Matt Long will be joining the FC Wisconsin coaching staff for the 2025-26 season. Matt brings a wealth of experience across all levels of the game, and we are thrilled to welcome him to our club.

Matt has been coaching since 2011 and holds a U.S. Soccer National “C” License. Over the years, he has worked with both boys and girls from Pre-Academy through U16 Select, developing players across all stages of their soccer journey. In addition to his coaching credentials, Matt has extensive experience in strength, speed, and technical training, adding even more value to his role with our club.

Before beginning his coaching career, Matt served in the United States military as an Airborne Infantryman and Combat Engineer, including deployment in Operation Iraqi Freedom from 2005–2006.

At FC Wisconsin, Matt will lead our Pre-ECNL U11 and U12 Program and support various other teams across the club.
