Wandt played at FC Wisconsin for her youth career, transitioning from a field player to a goalkeeper as a U15.  She went to Baylor university where she earned All-Big 12 honors for 3 seasons, finished as the Baylor record holder for single season shutouts, overall shutouts, and wins. and played professionally for 2 seasons in Sweden.  Wandt is an assistant coach at Marquette University after similar stints at Indiana University and Illinois State.
