On Friday, September 28, 4 FC Wisconsin Eclipse teams (U15-U18) will leave for competition at the ECNL National Showcase Event in Phoenix, AZ.  Each team will play 3 games over 3 days against ECNL clubs from across the country.  The ECNL National Showcase Events provide the unique combination of college showcase opportunity with meaningful games that impact qualification for the ECNL National Championship.  

On Friday, September 28, 4 FC Wisconsin Eclipse teams (U15-U18) will leave for competition at the ECNL National Showcase Event in Phoenix, AZ.  Each team will play 3 games over 3 days against ECNL clubs from across the country.  The ECNL National Showcase Events provide the unique combination of college showcase opportunity with meaningful games that impact qualification for the ECNL National Championship.

"The ECNL National Showcase Events are the biggest and best college recruiting events in the country," said Monica White.  "There is no better place for players to be seen and for them to have the opportunity to find a place to play collegiate soccer."  Each ECNL National Showcase event typically hosts several hundred colleges from every level and region in the US.  The events are also scouted by ECNL Scouts and US Soccer scouts to identify players for participation in ECNL / id2 Player Development Programs held in each conference, and for participation in US Soccer youth national teams.

"What makes these games especially meaningful is the role they play in qualification for the ECNL National Championship," said Christian Lavers.  "At each age group these games will help determine wildcards for the post-season, and will also determine seeding in post-season competition.  There is not much better as a player then getting to play meaningful games on one of the biggest stages in the country."
