While FC Wisconsin Eclipse is an independently operated youth club, the club has strong affiliations with Eclipse Select (IL) and FC Milwaukee Nationals (WI).  As part of the relationship with FC Milwaukee Nationals, beginning this week FC Milwaukee Staff Coach Chris McCreary will be working as an “Affiliation Coach” with FC Wisconsin Eclipse one day per week through the season. 

“We are excited to have Chris working with our players,” said FC Wisconsin Eclipse Director of Coaching Christian Lavers.  “Chris does a great job teaching fundamentals to players, and his presence at our trainings will both add a new perspective as well as even further improve our already unmatched staff ratio at training.”  McCreary will work with FC Wisconsin Eclipse at Thursday trainings.   As a reflection of the priority placed on teaching and development by FC Wisconsin Eclipse, the club has 5-6 coaches working in each session with a total of 30-45 players – providing exceptional ability to give individual, tailored instruction and feedback to players.

McCreary holds a USSF “A” License, and has been a member of the FC Milwaukee staff since 1995.  He currently coaches the FC Milwaukee Nationals U13-U15 USSDA Juniors teams competing in the US Club Soccer NPL – Midwest Development League.  Over the past years, he has also worked with Wisconsin ODP, Whitefish Bay SC, and multiple high school programs in the area.
