Lavers is the FC Wisconsin Director of Coaching and oversees all club staff and programs. He has helped develop elite players at every level, with players that have gone on to play for US youth national teams, professional teams, and hundreds that have moved on to play collegiate soccer.
Lavers has led teams to National Final Fours at 5 different levels - the ECNL National Finals, the USYS National Championships, the USASA National Championships, the W-League Final Four, and the WPSL Final Four. In 2013, his FC Wisconsin U23 team advanced to the ECNL National Championship match. In 2011, Lavers’ U18 girls team became the first Wisconsin team ever (boys or girls) to win a USYS National Championship. In 2010, he led his WPSL team to the Midwest Conference championship and WPSL Final Four. Lavers was an assistant coach for the Chicago Red Stars in the women’s professional league (NWSL) for 3 years (2013-2015), helping lead the team to 2nd place in the 2015 season, and was a tactical consultant for the team in 2017.
Lavers has worked as an assistant coach with multiple US Soccer Youth National Teams, holds the USSF "A" License, the USSF "Y" License, and the NSCAA Premier Diploma, and teaches the NSCAA / US Club Soccer "Director of Coaching" course. Lavers is the President of the Elite Clubs National League.
