Alum Kenzie Challoner Joins the Club

FC Wisconsin is excited to announce that former player and club alum MacKenzie Challoner will be joining the coaching staff this fall!  Challoner played for FC Wisconsin for almost her entire youth career, and then attended Winona State University where she was member of the women’s soccer team for four years.  At Winona State, Kenzie was named team captain, participated in the NCAA tournament, and earned the Presidential Scholar award 3 times.  Kenzie graduated in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Human Resources.

“We are really excited to have another alum join our coaching staff and give back to the next generation of players,” said Director of Coaching Christian Lavers.  “Kenzie has a relentlessly positive mentality, will bring fun and enthusiasm to training, and will be a great role model for our young players.”

“I have a great deal of respect for FC Wisconsin from my time player there and after,” said Kenzie.  “I’m eager to progress the skill and understanding of the game with the younger age groups while also growing as a coach and learning from an immensely-skilled coaching staff.”

Kenzie began her coaching journey at Strike FC, where she worked with new FC WI Pre-ECNL Director Paul Sikinger.

"I am extremely excited to be working again with Kenzie,” said FC WI Pre-ECNL Director Paul Sikinger.  “She has done a great job teaching the game to young players and has been a strong mentor for these young players."

Kenzie will work predominantly with the Youth Academy and Pre-ECNL age groups this year.  Join us in welcoming Kenzie back!
