5 Professional Players Since 2015

Incredibly, since 2015, FC Wisconsin has seen 5 alums move on to play professional soccer in the NWSL - an accomplishment few clubs in the country can boast, much less a club of less than 200 players for most of its existence.

In 2020, Kate Del Fava became the most recent club alum to join the NWSL, when she was drafted #12 overall by the Utah Royals.  Kate made an immediate impact, getting her first professional experience in the 65th minute of her first professional game, and then starting and going the full 90 in her second match last week.

Dani Rhodes signed as a free agent and played for the Chicago Red Stars in the NWSL Challenge Cup and Fall Series in 2020.

Mary Luba graduated from Marquette University in 2014, earned a call-up to the U23 US Soccer Women's National Team in 2015, and went on to play 3 years with the Chicago Red Stars from 2015 to 2017.  She helped the Red Star Reserves to the WPSL championship in 2015, and made her debut that season during the Women's World Cup.

Cara Walls was the 23rd pick in the 2015 NWSL draft, after a career that saw her earn All-Big Ten Conference First Team Honors at the University of Wisconsin and finish as their second all-time leading scorer.  Walls made 23 appearances for the Chicago Red Stars in 2015 and 2016, scoring twice.

Monica Gonyo earned a roster spot with the Chicago Red Stars in 2015, backing up long-time Canadian National Team Star Karina LeBlanc.  That year she also helped the Chicago Red Star Reserves to the WPSL National Championship.

On top of these five, alum Mckenna Meuer also played several years in Sweden for  Rävåsens IK Karlskoga.
